The Sultan of swing is scheduled to meet Shahrukh khan very shortly to coach the Kolkatta Knight Riders team for the 3rd season of the India Premier League. KKR which ended at the bottom of the league table is determined to change its fate for the third season as the tournament returns back to India in 2010. Shah Rukh it seems approached the former Pakistan captain to come and help out as the bowling coach.

Mohammad Asif has been named in Pakistan squad for champions’ trophy which is going to be held in South Africa next month. The Pakistan fast bowler had been banned from international cricket makes his comeback after more than a year.

Mumbai, 18 August, 2009: Australians have reported to that a man approached one of its team members suspected to have links with illegal bookies. International Cricket Committee (ICC) has confirmed reports that it’s Anti Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) had been informed by the Australian team manager about the approach.

Rahul Dravid has been included in India’s ODI squad for tri- series in Sri Lanka and champions Trophy in South Africa. Rahul who will replace Rohit Sharma but Virender Sehwag has not been selected for the squad as expected due to shoulder injury.
