In a match cut short by rain, Chris Gayle nailed down England by 8 wickets to pocket the third ODI. It was a tragic outing for the touring England Team as they were toppled for a humiliating score of 117 at Bridgetown after the match was delayed by rain for a short while. Gayle on a spree of sixes and fours further made the match one that the visitors would seldom like to be inked in the records. His 43 balls 80 runs curtained down the episode with Windies climbing on to 117/2 in 14.4 overs and they were declared the winners as per D/L method.
